RAGS TO RICHES ANNOUNCES RELEASE FOR THEIR ALBUM ~PICKING UP THE PIECES~

Rags to riches, a 4 piece rock band from Norway wants to promote their first album ~Picking up the pieces~.
The album, a self financed album, was recorded at a local studio (Klyve lydstudio) in Sept/Oct 2006.
They have recently start to promote their album international through internet, in different showcases, promotions sites, competisions.
Rags to riches makes selfcomposed melodic rock music. They are inspired by different kinds of rock music, mostly from the 70ths, but also rock, pop music made today.
Some of their songs are in category hardrock, others can describe as more progressiv with symphonic elements. Their sound is vintage.
The band orginally called Black Pearl, was reformed in 2005 with two new members and renamed Rags to riches. The members have different musical background, which makes their sound and songs interesting and unique.
Some of the songs on ~Picking up the pieces~ are made years back in Black Pearl. They sound a little different from what they make today. You can hear the difference in songs like: ~Breaking my heart~, ~Touch of an angel~ which was made back when they where called Black Pearl, and songs like: ~Diamond on a ring~, ~Guardians of the light~ which is more ~Rags to riches~, made in 2006.
Rags to riches is in constant evolution. They love to compose and play. They allways gets good feedback for their live concerts
